 The 2nd winner of the Zidacem Day campaign has been announced
 The 2nd winner of the Zidacem Day campaign received his prize - a 32" LG TV. The lucky winner is Mr Toshko Petrov, again from Varna (link to the official protocol). The winner received his prize in person from Ms. Raina Miteva, Innovation Products Manager at the Zidacem demonstration location. At the end of the campaign in May, a third LG TV will be awarded, as well as the top prize - a Peugeot Scooter.
Devnya Cement & Vulkan Cement Commemorate the World Day for Safety & Health at Work with Awards, a Quiz show and a Safety Cake
 On 26.04.2013, both the Devnya Cement and Vulkan Cement plants celebrated the World Day for Safety and Health at Work. The special event in Devnya Cement officially began with a welcome address on behalf of Mr. Francis, Managing Director accompanied by a presentation of the Italcementi Group reward for the New Line Project, honoring the achievement of 1 year without accident. 
Vulkan Cement Celebrates Earth Day with Children from Local Kindergarten
On April 22nd, 2013 the employees of Vulkan Cement celebrated Earth Day together with the children of the local Kindergarten “Slantse” located in Dimitrovgrad under the motto “I Love Nature & I Am Taking Part” – a project under the National Clean Environment Campaign of the Ministry of Environment & Water. The Plant Manager of Vulkan Cement, Ms. Maria Panayotova welcomed the guests and, on behalf of the employees, expressed her great willingness to participate in such eco-friendly initiatives by setting an example for the younger generation in making the world a greener place, a practice completely in line with the company’s Sustainable Development policies.
2nd YEAR IN A ROW DEVNYA CEMENT COMMITTED TO RESTORING THE PRISTINE ENVIRONMENT OF BULGARIA
 For a second year in a row, the Management of Devnya Cement AD made a commitment to take part in the „World Clean Up 2013” campaign through the “Let’s Clean Bulgaria for 1 Day” national campaign. Remaining committed to „Restore the Pristine Environment in Bulgaria” the employees worked together on Friday, April 19th, 2013 to make their surrounding environment and their world a cleaner and lovelier place.
The same day, Devnya Cement took the opportunity to provide the Municipality of Devnya with 13 trees as well as remove over 50 tons of waste from one of the neighboring living quarters.
1st Winner of Zidacem Day Campaign Announced
 From the start of the Zidacem Day campaign, over 11 customer locations have been visited by specialists from Devnya Cement demonstrating the performance capabilities of the Zidacem product before a wide audience of entrepreneurs, construction engineers and builders. Over 260 participants took part in the monthly prize draw. As an essential part of the campaign, the first winner of a 32’ LG TV was announced on 01.04.2013, Mr. Nedko Todorov from Varna. The draw was held at the Devnya Cement administration building in the presence of a Notary (official protocol). The winner received his prize from Mr. Salvatore Palazzo, Sales & Marketing Director of Devnya Cement AD.
In the month of April, the upcoming Zidacem Day campaign venues include: Stara Zagora, Kazanlak, Plovdiv, Hakovo, Dimitrovgrad, Kardzjali, Asenovgrad, Pazardzjik & Smolyan. The exact campaign locations and dates can be found here.
Devnya Cement launches "ZIDACEM Day"
On March 5th, "Devnya Cement" AD officially launches its advertising campaign "ZIDACEM Day" in a number of selected stores for building materials in the country. Experts from the company will present the ZIDACEM product, demonstrating its advantages live on-site. Campaign participants will have the opportunity to take part in a special prize draw, with the chance to win a brand new LG TV on a monthly basis, and at the end of the campaign, the grand prize, a Peugeot scooter.
