After its entry into the Bulgarian market in 1998, with the acquisition of Devnya Cement, and in 1999, with the acquisition of Vulkan Cement, Italcementi Group, which is the fifth largest cement producer in the world and a leader in the Mediterranean region, continues the established traditions in the area of human resources and has adopted a successful corporate personnel policy. Italcementi Group now has 21 000 employees in 22 countries worldwide. 500 people work for Italcementi Group Bulgaria, and the company also provides employment to another almost 1500 people, whose jobs depend on the company activities.
