The Employees of Devnya Cement participate in the “Let’s clean Bulgaria for 1 day” national campaign

On 10.05.2012, Devnya Cement AD became a part of the „World Cleanup 2012” campaign by dedicating a day of cleaning Devnya Municipality as well as the areas around the Company premises. Approximately 130 employees and subcontractors took a part in this initiative. The event was opened by Mr. Nabil Francis, Managing Director of the Company and Ms. Eli Ivanova, Deputy Mayor of Devnya welcomed all participants and thanked them for their commitment.

The remarkable results were the removal of a total of 8 trucks of waste from the neighboring living quarter, which is an equivalent of approximately 100 tons of waste that were removed from the Municipality and transported to a waste depot facility.
