Axel Conrads is appointed as Managing Director of Devnya Cement AD as of January 1st, 2018. Mr. Conrads joined HeidelbergCement Group, owner of the Bulgarian subsidiary, as a trainee in 1999 and took various positions with technical background in Germany, USA and Belgium over the years. Prior joining Devnya Cement AD, Mr. Conrads had the responsibility of Area Director for Western and Southern Europe of the Technological Centre of HeidelbergCement Group. Mr. Conrads holds diplomas in Engineering from the Clausthal Technical University and RWTH Aachen, Germany.
Christophe Allouchery is Head of the Finance Department of Devnya Cement AD and assumes the responsibility of Finance Director for Bulgaria, Greece and Albania of HeidelbergCement Group. He holds a diploma in Finance from Paris University and worldwide expertise, including positions as Senior Zone Controller / Assistant to Zone Manager in Italcementi Group, Italy, Head of Controlling Department (Cement) with Ciments Calcia, France, Head of Analytical Accounting with Ciments Calcia, France, etc. Mr. Allouchery took over the position of Finance Director in 2013 and he is part of the Group since 2000.
Mr. Colosio is Technical Director for Bulgaria, Greece and Albania, joining the Company in 2016. He has a long international experience in different Plants of the Group, including the position of Manufacturing Manager in Cairo, Egypt, Plant Manager acting as Technical Director in Fuping, China, Plant Manager in Athens, Greece. This is Mr. Colosio’s second mandate in Bulgaria as he held the position of Maintenance Manager within Technical Department of Devnya Cement AD in the period 1999-2002. Mr. Colosio is fluent in Bulgarian language.
Mr. Stoyan Shterev is part of the Company since 2003 and managed successfully the Legal Department in Bulgaria. He undertook a coordination role in the management of the Legal function in Greece within the period 2014 – 2016. In parallel, he also represents the Institutional Relations of the Company. He moved to Commercial Department in the beginning of 2016 and has been heading the Department since August 2016. Mr. Shterev holds a Master degree in Law from Sofia University and a Master degree in Public Finance from the University of National and World Economy.
Human Resources Director
Mrs. Maya Atanasova is Human Resource Director for Bulgaria, Greece and Albania, joining the Company in 2006. Throughout the years she held different positions in Finance and HR Departments, she is appointed at her current position, effective 2013. Mrs. Atanasova holds a Master degree in Accounting and Control from the University of Economics, Varna. Prior joining the Company she gained international experience in UK where she worked in the retail and finance area for several years.
Stanislav Todorov holds the position of Purchasing Director for Bulgaria, Greece and Albania since 2017. Previously he took various positions in the Supply Chain and Logistics sector both at national and regional level. Prior joining the team of Devnya Cement, Mr. Todorov managed the Purchasing activity of AES Corp., EMEA region. Mr. Todorov has a degree in Law from Sofia University Sv. Kliment Ohridki and he specialized International Business Law with Central European University in Budapest.
